For a Florida company, we are urgently looking for the following:

1. SENSOR SYSTEMS DEVT ENGINEER Description of Work: Perform systems engineering for advanced passive & active electro-optic sensor (I2R, SAL & LADAR), & millimeter wave (MMW) radar systems spanning the complete project life cycle. Responsibilities mission analysis & requirements definitions concept development, architecture definition & system design synthesis; functional analysis & design trade studies, requirements allocation & flow-down; system performance analysis & prediction; hardware/software requirements allocation, interface definition, subsystems performance/design specification development; design coordination & design review participation; test requirements definition & test planning; hardware/software integration & test. Knowledge of the following desirable: electromagnetic atmospheric propagation & target characteristics; non-imaging & imaging, incoherent & coherent systems, target search, detection, & tracking techniques; embedded real time digital signal processing; component & subsystem performance state of the art, laboratory instrumentation & measurement equipment; & captive flight data collection, modeling/simulation while considering realistic limitations in implementation. Special Qualifications Desired: BS Physics or EE required, MS preferred, with 12+ yrs directly related exp.. 2.

2. SEEKER HARDWARE DEVELOPMENT ENGINEER: Description of Work: Perform sensor hardware development engineering for passive & active electro-optic sensor systems (I2R, SAL, & LADAR) & MMW radar systems. Responsibilities include system design synthesis & trade study; hardware/software requirements allocation, interface definition, subsystems performance/design specification development; coordination of detailed hardware design disciplines & design review leadership for manufacturing engineering processes & support, test requirements definition, test planning, & test procedure development. Hardware/software integration & test support. Special Qualifications Desired: B.S. Physics or Electrical/Mechanical Engineering required, MS preferred, with 10+ yrs directly related exp..

3 . PACKAGING ENGINEER: Description: Packaging engineering is responsible for packaging of microelectronics primarily in a High-G environment. The tasking includes packaging of microelectronics, microelectronic layouts, development of microelectronic design rules & applications of electronics in High-G environment. Techniques will include surface mount assemblies, soldering attach, adhesive attach, wire bonding, insertion of MIMIC & ASIC devices & the manufacturing techniques to assemble multi chip modules. The position requires coordination with vendors during the development of packaging & custom chip development. Special Qualifications Required: B.S./M.S. Electrical, mechanical engineering or Physics with 10 yrs+ exp. in electronics packaging with some related exp. in High-G applications.

4. SOFTWARE SYSTEMS DEVELOPMENT ENGINEER: Perform software systems development engineering for real time embedded systems for advanced sensor applications. responsibilities include software systems requirements analysis & architecture definition; software requirements allocation; software design synthesis & documentation; C/C++/Assembly coding & unit test; software configuration management; embedded DSP hardware/software integration & test. Special Qualifications Required: BS/MS Computer Science or related field, with 8+ yrs directly related exp.. Familiarity with Mil-Std 2167 & Mil-Std 498 software development processes & associated documentation.

5. SYSTEMS ENGINEERING ANALYST: Perform systems engineering analysis for advanced passive & active electro-optic sensor systems (I2R, SAL & LADAR) & MMW radar systems. Responsibilities include mission analysis; system modeling & analysis for sensor functional requirements allocation, requirements flow down & traceability to subordinate functional levels; system performance prediction & sensitivity trade studies at the subsystem level; parameter tolerance & error budgeting & support subsystem performance specification development. Person to work in close association with Weapon Systems Engineer & Sensor Hardware Development Engineer. Special Qualifications Required: MS Engineering or Mathematics required. PhD Preferred, with 12+ yrs directly related exp.

6. ALGERITHM&SIMULATION DEVELOPMENT ENGINEER: Algorithm, modeling, & simulation development engineer responsible for advanced passive & active electro-optic sensor system (I2R, SAL & LADAR) & MMW target detection, discrimination, & guidance algorithm development & evaluation. Responsibilities include algorithm synthesis; model & simulation development, evaluation, & validation; & generation & presentation of related technical documentation. Knowledge of the following desirable: Automatic target acquisition, digital signal processing, missile guidance, non-linear extended Kalman filter theory with practical application, rolling airframes & their associated ballistic models. Will support development & update FORTRAN Weapon Systems Simulation. Special Qualifications Desired: MS or Ph D, in Applied Mathematics or Engineering, with 8+ yrs directly related exp. Working knowledge of FORTRAN & C/C++ programming required.

7. EMBEDDED PROCESSOR DESIGN ENGINEER: Embedded processor design engineer, responsible for designing to established digital processor requirements for weapon systems applications, synthesizing & evaluating candidate sensor processing approaches in the context of available devices, performing trade studies & selecting Microprocessors, DSPs, & associated devices, modeling & prediction of system performance including processor throughput, defining digital processor design architecture, detailed digital design, continued support during PWB design & layout, development of test specifications, & support during integration & test. Requires processor architecture exp. with appreciation for software considerations. Will support Seeker Hardware Development Engineer during development of processor allocations in addition to above. Special Qualifications Desired: BSEE required, MS preferred, with 8+ yrs directly related exp.

8. DIGITAL DESIGN ENGINEER: Exp. with high density packaging techniques is a plus. Able to provide original Circuit Card designs interfacing to Microprocessors & Digital Signal Processors (DSPs). Design exp. with PGAs (Programmable Gate Arrays & specification or design of ASIC devices required. Working knowledge of CAE/CAD tools (Viewlogic, Abel), VHDL, test equipment, logic analyzers, oscilloscopes is a necessity. Working knowledge of PCs, Windows 95, MS Word, Power Point, & Excel necessary. Must have good technical writing & oral communications skills. Description of Work: Required to design high speed digital circuit cards & subsystems. Will be required to develop & simulate designs using CAE tools. Programming & simulating logic devices using VHDL will be required. Will be required to write circuit card specifications in a clear & organized manner. Assigned tasks will include development of multi-chip modules using "chip & wire" packaging techniques. Special Qualifications Desired: BSEE required, with 8+ yrs exp in design & test of digital circuit cards required. Familiarization with guidance systems preferred.

9. DIGITAL DESIGN ENGINEER: Able to provide original Circuit Card designs using Microprocessors, Digital Design Processors (DSPs), & Programmable Gate Arrays (FPGAs). Exp. with specifying or design of ASIC devices preferred. A working knowledge of CAE/CAD tool (Vewilogic, Abel) VHDL, test equipment, logic analyzers, oscilloscopes is a necessity. A working knowledge of PCs, Windows 95, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, & Excel is necessary. Must have good technical writing & oral communications skills. Description of Work: Required to design high speed digital circuit cards. Will be required to develop & simulate designs using CAE tools. Programming & simulating logic devices using VHDL will be required. Will be required to write circuit card specifications in a clear & organized manner. Special Qualifications Desired: BSEE required, with 5+ yrs directly related exp in design & test of digital circuit cards required. Familiarization with Missile Warning Systems preferred.

10. RF DESIGN ENGINEER: MMW receiver module design engineer (using MIMIC chips). Performance modeling, prototype manufacture follow up, test, & vendor interface for final product design. Working knowledge of CAE/CAD tools (Ansoft, EESoft, Spice) test equipment such as HP 8510, spectrum, analyzers, oscilloscopes is a necessity. A working knowledge of PCs, Windows 95, MS Word, PowerPoint, & Excel is necessary. Must have good technical writing & oral communication skills. Exp. in high density packaging techniques is a plus. Description of Work: Required to design & simulate Microwave filters, amplifiers, mixers, & power splitters. Will be required to perform tests on circuits using specialized test fixtures & equipment. Will be required to write design & assembly specifications in a clear & organized manner. Assigned tasks will include development of modules using "chip & wire" packaging techniques. Special Qualifications Desired: BSEE required, MS preferred, with 8+ yrs directly related exp in design & test of MMW circuits (up to 100 GHz). Familiarization with Guidance Systems preferred.

11. ANALOG DESIGN ENGINEER (2X): Able to provide original Intermediate Frequency (IF) Circuit Card designs. Circuits will include A/D conversion, Direct Digital Synthesis (DDS), signal filtering power conditioning, & monitoring, mixers, & amplifiers. Working knowledge of CAE/CAD tools (Ansoft, EESoft, Spice), test equipment, logic analyzers, oscilloscopes is a necessity. Exp. in PWB design layout is advantageous. Working knowledge of PCs, Windows 95, MS Word, PowerPoint, & Excel is necessary. Must have good technical writing & oral communication skills. Exp. in high density packaging techniques is a plus. Description of work: Design circuit cards & subsystems. Required to develop & simulate designs using CAE tools. Required to write circuit card specifications in a clear & organized manner. Assigned tasks will include development of multi-chip modules using "chip & Wire" packaging techniques. Special Qualifications Desired: BSEE required, MS preferred, with 8+ yrs directly related exp in design & test of analog circuits (up to 2ghz). Familiarization with Guidance Systems preferred.

12. AD DESIGN ENGINEER: Able to lead a team of electrical engineers in the development of a major system design. Must be able to participate in definition & development of the computer Guidance System. Requires high speed embedded DSP design exp, analog to digital conversion, power conditioning & monitoring telemetry. Familiarity with Analog Devices SHARC processors a plus. Familiarity with a wide breadth of high speed processors a must. Working knowledge of PCs, Windows 95, MS Word, PowerPoint, & Excel necessary. Must have good technical writing & oral communication skills. Work Description: Lead Project Engineer will support Seeker Hardware Development Engineer & Engineering Manager on development of electronic subsystems. Will guide team of 8 engineers, provide leadership, conduct design reviews, conduct trade studies, interface with other engineering departments. Individual will initially participate in processor trade studies evolving into the lead engineer for the complete processor design. Will be required to tack & report progress against schedule & budgets. Special Qualifications Desired: BSEE required, MS preferred, with 12+ yrs exp in design & test of guidance systems.

13. SYSTEMS MODELING ENGINEER: Description of Work: Perform implementation of advanced passive & active electro-optic sensor systems (I2R, SAL & LADAR) & MMW radar systems & supporting processing electronic functions on a workstation environment using descriptive language modeling software. Responsibilities include performance modeling & coding of weapon system signal processing functions into a modeling software tool down to the embedded application level, evaluating candidate approaches & performing parametric & trade studies. Develop software interface description & application to custom hardware & DSPs. Will work in support of the Systems Engineering team. Special Qualifications Desired: BSEE/CE/CS required, MS preferred, with 1+ yrs exp. 1+ yrs exp utilizing C language. Knowledge of FORTUNE helpful. Familiarity with descriptive language modeling tools, preferably directly with GEDAE system.

14. SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT ENGINEER: Description of Work: Perform end-to-end software development for real time embedded systems for advanced sensor applications. responsible for software requirements analysis & allocation, algorithm implementation; software design synthesis & documentation; ADA/C/C++/Assembly coding & unit test; design review participation; software configuration management; embedded DSP hardware/software integration & test; software qualification test. Special Qualifications Desired: BS/MS in Computer Science or related field, with 5+ yrs. exp. Familiarity with Mil-Std 1815A ADA software development, & with Mil-Std 2167 & Mil-Std 498 software development processes & associated documentation.

15. SYSTEMS REQUIREMENTS ANALYSIS ENGINEER: Description of Work: Perform systems requirements analysis of advanced passive & active electro-optic sensor systems (I2R, SAL & LADAR) & MMW radar systems. Responsible for mission analysis & compilation of system requirements, functional requirements analysis, requirements allocation & flow-down to subsystems, subsystems performance/design specification development, interface requirements definition, test requirements definition & test plan development, & maintenance of top-down requirements traceability. Supports other systems engineering in follow up with design, equipment, mechanical, structural & test engineering. Individual to work in support of Sensor Systems Development Engineer & Sensor Hardware Development engineer. Required: BSEE, MS preferred, 5+ yrs exp. Familiarity with behavioral modeling & requirement tools such as RDD-100 to maintain requirements traceability, & MathCad or equivalent requirements analysis.

Another Florida client needs:

Optical Design Engineer: Provide technical support during procurement & fabrication of optical components within AGSS. In addition, will oversee assembly, alignment, & test of the optical subassemblies, including FLIR, LASER DEROL ASSAY ELEVATION GIBMAL & BORSIGHT ASSEMBLY Required: BSME or BSEE, 5+ yrs exp. & Exp. with off axis reflective optics. Senior Staff Optics Design Engineer: In this senior potision, will provide optical design & analysis support for TADS Reliability Improvements; perform analysis & trade studies based on system requirements and EO analysis; identify/resolve complex optical design & mechanical configuration issues; and prepare optical prescriptions with many iterations to satisfy all requirements. Required: BS Engineering, exp. with midwave, long wave, and visible optics Familiatiry with boresight modules and laser optics design ability to generate optics prescriptions to support design layout, tolerances, and detailed lens drawings.
