Requires hands on system skills involving hardware/software integration. Candidate must possess a BSEE or BSCS & 2-6 years of experience with systems & software requirements definition, analysis, development & integraiton in an avionics/real time operating systems environment. ADA & C programming background also desired. TECHNICAL MANAGER: with 10 yrs of related engg exp with strong leadership skills. Must be highly motivated & a self directed individual with a strong bgd in systems & software test. International experience & language proficiency in French is a plus. Will lead testing of FMS Pegasus system for Arbus A320 & 340 aircraft. Responsibiities will include planning & organizing test effort, coordinating with other FMS test programs to leverage common work & utilizing sw test offload resources. Approx 3 trips, with at least 3 weeks each to India each year will be required. AVIONICS APPLICATIONS ENGINEER with airlines, operators, & regulatory agencies on system installations such as TCAS, SATCOM, & others. 2+ yrs of actual exp in aircraft avionics installation & certification. Significant domestic and/or international travel will be required. APPLICATION ENGINEERS: Working with airlines, operators, & regulatory agencies on system installations, such as TCAS, SATCOM & mores. seeking engineers with 2+ yrears in aircraft avionic installation & cetrification. BSEE or MSEE preferred. Significant domestic and/or international travel will be required. DESIGNER, to develop & verify an avionics data communications systems. Experience in C programming & ISO 8208 (X.25) skills, with at least 3 years systems exp preferably in avionics area. ASIC designer to support conversion of full custom risk processor design to ASIC implementation. MSEE/MSCS preferred with at least 1 yr of related exp. Verilog/VHDL RTL or full custom IC design exp desired. Flight Management Systems (FMS) Engineers: Experience in lateral & vertical guidance, performance & navigation & BSEE, BSCS, or BSAE are necessry. Our client can always use sw programmers with ADA, C & C++ with exp with embedded coding. SW & systems engieers with hands on sw and/or systems skills involving hw/sw integration. 3 7 years exp & C programming abilities. ADA exp in an avionics/real time operating systems environment highly desired. Hardware Design Engineer. Preferred candidates will possess an MS/BS in Electrical or Computer Engineering & have 6 10 years of experience in digital & analog design & analysis. Experience with video/digital processing, Mentor 8.X design tools, & FPGA design is desirable. Senior Software Engineer: This Systems Engineer candidate will possess a BS/MS in Electrical or Computer Engineering or Computer Science & a background in Jovial & C/C++ programming languages. Knowledge of VAX & VME based functional testing & flight control experience is a plus. Individual will be required to modify/maintain "C" based hardware interface simulator, rehost modula II software to visual C+ for a user interface console. This position offers an excellent opportunity to learn state of the art flight control system concepts on a fly by wire, fly by light, quadraplex, full authority system. Will be required to mentor less experienced software engineers on program software requirements. Systems/Software Engineer. The Systems/Software Engineer candidate will possess an MS/BS in Electrical or Computer Engineering or Computer Science. Tasks will include test of flight/mission management functions such as Search & REscue Patterns, Input/Output Managment, & Built in Test in addition to system design & software requirements development. Previous flight management systems experience is a plus but not required. This Software Engineer candidate will possess a BS/MS in Electrical or Computer Engineering or Computer Science & experience with the software life cycle, including design, implementation, integration & test activities. Prospective candidate should have experience with high level languages (Ada preferred), real time operating environments & embedded systems. Experience with 1553 architectures & navigation/communication integration is desired. The RDD 100 & Rational software development toolset and/or Object Oriented methods is desired. Systems Engineer: The Systems Engineer candidate will possess an MS/BS in Electrical or Computer Engineering or Computer Science. Candidate will perform system design & integration of a next generation avionics suite. Tasks include design of the integrated cockpit, analysis of 1553 bus performance, requirements analysis & system integration. Must be familiar with 1553 avionics systems. Experience & familiarity with navigation, communication, flight control, display sub systems, military & civil aviation specifications, RDD 100, software development processes, & the Ada programming language is a plus. Senior Software Engineer: This Senior Software Engineer candidate will possess a BS/MS in Electrical or Computer Engineering or Computer Science & a minimum of four years of software development experience. Will possess working knowledge of UNIX, VxWorks, Tornado, C, C++ & Ada. Experience with all aspects of the software development life cycle, including requirements analysis, design, implementation, integration, & test is required. Experience wih Ada95 & real time, embedded programming is desired. Senior Software Engineer: This Senior Software Engineer candidate will possess a BS/MS in Electrical or Computer Engineering or Computer Science & a minimum of 6-8 years of software development experience. Will contribute in the development of an open architecture based system which provides the functionality of a Multi Purpose Display Processor & the Central Computer for a high performance jet aircraft. This position will involve programming the Power PC603e & i960RC processor for executive & graphic applications. Will possess programming experience in C/C++. Experience with the Tornado & VxWorks operating system is highly desirable. Must be able to work in a team environment. Senior Software Engineer: The Systems Engineer will possess an MS/BS in Electrical or Computer Engg or Computer Science. This individual will be responsible for defining the software architecture & software engineering environment for a helicopter program. Experience with high level languages (Ada preferred), real time operating environments & software life cycle is required. Experience with MIL STD 1553B, COMM/NAV integration & the software development process is desired. Senior Avionics Systems Engineer: Preferred candidate will possess an MS/BS in Electrical or Computer Engineering & have a minimum of three years of applicable avionics systems design & development experience. Experience with flight, mission and/or airborne vehicle management systems, navigation & communication systems and/or avionics systems integration is required. Knowledge of military avionics equipment, including cockpit controls/displays, aircraft sensors, data transfer devices, weapon systems MIL STD 1553 architecture, VME and/or global air traffic management (GATM) systems is highly desirable. AMLCD Hardware Engineer : The Active Matrix Liquid Crystal Display (AMLCD) hardware design engineer candidate will possess a BS/MS in Electrical or Computer Engineering & have a minimum of 4 years' experience in the development of display systems. Must have a working knowledge of AMLCD display systems including display parameters (e.g. luminance, viewing angle, color coordinates, etc.), design to cost analysis, mechanical & thermal design constraints, producability, & electrical interfaces. Excellent teaming & communication skills are required. Principal Systems/Software Engineer: This Software Engineer candidate will possess a BS/MS in Electrical or Computer Engineering or Computer Science with a background in Software Safety. Must be knowledgeable & proficient in Software hazard Analysis techniques to include hazard identification, software hazard risk assessment, software hazard risk mitigation, & software test planning as it relates to verification of software hazard mitigation. Will serve as the point of contact with the customer regarding software safety. Travel is required. Senior Software Engineer: This Senior Software Engineer will develop Terrain Situation Analysis software. Will possess a BS/MS in Electrical or Computer Engineering or Computer Science & be familiar with image processing, map graphics (i.e. matrix transformations, cache scanning, cache management, & look ahead management) & directory management (i.e. hash tables & algorithmic directories). Familiarity with software development processes, MIL STD 498, real time embedded software development, the Rational environment, LynxOS, & the PowerPC is required. Knowledge of object oriented design, Ada 95, Open GL, & X Windows/MOTIF is a plus. Excellent teaming, interpersonal & communication skills are required. U.S. cit required. Software Engineer: Possess an MS/BS in Computer Science or Engineering & have experience with a high order Language (preferably Ada). Familiarity with X Windows & the Rational tool set environment is desirable. Effective participation as a team member in a teaming environment is required. U.S. citizenship required. Electrical Hardware Design Engineer: Senior Electrical Design Hardware Engineer. Preferred candidates will posses an MS/BS in Electrical or Computer Engineering & have 6 10 years of experience in digital & analog design & analysis. Opportunity includes the design of a MIL STD 1553 interface & ARINC 429 interfaces & various other input/output functions for a flat panel display. Knowledge of MIL STD 1553 requirements, ARINC 429 interface design & PCI bus interface is desirable. A working knowledge of Mentor 8.X is desirable. Electrical Hardware Design Engineer: Senior Electrical Design Hardware Engineer. Preferred candidates will posses an MS/BS in Electrical or Computer Engineering & have 6 10 years of experience in digital & analog design & analysis. Opportunity includes the design of a video module & LCD formatter with ANSI Fiber Channel interfaces for a flat panel display. The video module provides a conversion of radar video data & merge capability with video data from an image processing module for display. Knowledge of RS 343 video & the Cypress Hotlink chipset is a plus. A working knowledge of Mentor version 8.X is desirable. Senior Software Development Engineer: Preferred candidate will possess an MS/BS in Electrical or Computer Engineering or Computer Science & have a minimum of three years of applicable software development experience. Experience developing real time, embedded software applications using a VAX/VMS development environment & the VxWorks operating system is preferred. Experience developing applications using C/C++, Ada83 & Ada95 is required. In addition to possessing an understanding of the software lifecycle development process, excellent teaming, interpersonal & communication skills are required.
